So my next upgrade will be to replace my hard drives with SSD's. i dont have a problem putting more than one drive in my system so the ssd you list doesnt have to be 500gb+.

 

One drive is usually better than one in terms of data reliability but two in raid 0 will be faster, ususally just less than double the speed, as others have said. There is also the option of using a M.2 or PCI-E SSD if you have the option on the motherboard.
