Shure se215s

alby800

Hello audio peoples :D

I want to get a pair of Shure se215s, I have watched HW Canucks review of these vs the Sennheiser Momentum in ears, and these seem like a better option for me

So what I wanted to ask, is should I spend the extra money and get the special edition, which I heard is better, but is it worth the extra money.

Also, is https://www.techrific.com.au/ a legit site? should I buy from their as they are only $120.95 for the normal editions + shipping

Special editions ($147.20 incl shipping)

Normal ($137.20)

http://www.minidisc.com.au/headphones-earphones/inear-earphones/shure-se215-sound-isolating-black-p-2089.html

Normal, from Techrific ($120.95)

Thanks for the help, also, if there is any others that might suit me better, please tell me and I will take a look :)

Nearly forgot to say what I am using them for, they will be replacing my HyperX Clouds for a little bit because I am selling the to @athesean1, to get some nicer open ones in the future (like the ad700x's) so I will be using them for gaming, skype, and music on my ipod, which is all sorts of genres.

The reason why I am selling my clouds for these, is because I need portability at the moment.

edit - Headphonic has the special blue ones for $139 with free shipping :D

From what I've heard, it's a matter of opinion on whether to survival edition is better or not. If you're happy with one, you'll be happy with the other, so don't think too hard about it.

I hear the SE215s special editions have clearer highs, and to many it is a preferable sound signature.

Thanks :)

Ok thanks, the price difference between the two isn't much so I think I will go with the special edition
