Is 1440p worth it?

I am thinking of getting a 1080p monitor if it does not make a huge difference. Is 1440p worth it?

1440p is much better if you have the power to run it properly.

Only if you can drive it with your GPU, then yes, i love my 1440p display.

I think it depends on the screen size and what it's being used for. If your looking anywhere near 27", 1440 is a must.

Depends on what you're doing and your budget. 24" and 27" are similar in size. I went with 27" @ 1440p because it allowed me to have more information on the screen when working with NLE's and Photoshop.
