Hey.

I am planning to build my first custom gaming rig and i want to know if this is setup is okey.

Here is the part list  http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7phzjX

If there is something I should improve (like CPU, GPU, Motherboard etc.) I can put in another 200-400 dollar.

I am also wondering if i should use a cpu w/ the lga1150 socket or if i should use a socket that has an oppertunity to upgrade the cpu when the 5th and 6th gen intel cpu's get out on the marked

@Benny867

A few questions:

- Why no PSU in the build?

- What resolution will you be playing at?

This seems like the best option to me then unless you do not want to potentially deal with the VRAM issue in which case you should get an R9 290X tri-x

I just found one on the internet that i can buy

(i live in Norway so I have to find the hardware in shops in Norway)

Does the 8GB cost 200 euros?

1866 MHz RAM at CAS 9 is almost the same speed as that 2800 MHz RAM, as far as request response time.

For absolutely no reason will no need 2800MHz ram and $200 for 8GB is the most idiotic thing ever. It's not a downgrade unless you do a lot of content creation but if you want I can swap it you for 2400MHz RAM for a normal/reasonable price

I would say stick to 8GB for now, you don't need more unless you have specific applications that demand more (Like minecraft @4GB or higher)
