Which should I get for my friend R9 270 or R7 265

My friend is looking to build his first Gaming system  he's on a budget but we got most of what we need already, other then the graphics card he's mostly a console gamer

 

this is the first time he's playing games on steam so he's asked to build a system with in the same budget of SGD$ 750.00 (USD$600.00)

I got most of the parts other then the graphics card I'm not sure which card  can handle the gaming  at 1080p at constant 60 FPS at med to high

 

he plays mostly FPS games and MMORPG like LOL and SMITE and DOTA 2

 

the balance for the GPU is USD$ 208.00/ SGD$336.00

What parts did you choose? Get the R9 270 for sure, you could even go higher as well

Save for an R9 280 if at all possible.

What? Where do you live? The 280 costs about 190eur where I live

I think you would be better off with an i3 and h81 mobo but ok, its a good build. And go with the 270
