Hi!

I'm trying to get a decent computer, one that can play modern games at medium-high settings. I also play lots of csgo so I really want it to be able to run that well. I'm trying to fit it under 900-1000 dollars, while still fitting in a monitor and the os in the budget.

This is what I have so far http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7M2cjX

Thanks in advance :D

Is the optical drive really necessary?

This is also my first time building/attempting to build a computer, so I wasn't exactly sure if I needed it or not

Would you ever need to use optical discs?
