Slow download speed

I bought a wireless usb adapter for my pc. It works but I get a SLOW I MEAN SLOW download speed! Please help why I am getting such slow download speed!

Because you're using a wireless USB adapter. What make and model is it? Most of them are absolute rubbish.

Issue is most likely the device is rubbish. Are you on the latest drivers and what is the model and brand?

Try using a usb-extension cord, some WiFi adapters use those as an antenna but don't mention it anywhere...

Try using a laptop right next to the router and if u get less than 80% of the spees of your advertised speed then theres a serious problem and i would return it
