hi guys I have a asus r9 270(stock) and when I play some games like payday 2 or left for dead 2 I get a black screen it sometimes happens after a few minutes but sometimes straight away I really need help on how to resolve this.i have tried reloading the drivers, checked temps(around 60-65 under 90-100% load for 30mins), and uninstalled and reinstalled all games that it does not work on because it works when I play gmod or hearthstone.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

System:

A6 6400k

R9 270

500w psu

1 ssd and 1HD

Do you overclock your GPU ?

If so, with what software and what are your settings ?

Have you tried other video outputs out your GPU ?

If so, do the same problem occur ?

How long have you had the GPU ?

Did that problem arrise from the start  ?

Do you have the latest AMD drivers ?

Are you experiencing any frame drops or artifacts ?

Spoiler

No I never oc'ed my Gpu and never tried different outputs as my tv only has Hdmi ,the gpu was brought of eBay from a reputable seller that said they were around 6-9 months old I've had it for around a month and it didn't always happen because I never got the chance to play more intense games like left for dead 2 and payday and I have the latest drivers and no frame drops or artifacts

Thanks for reply

Does anything happen if you press: Ctrl + Alt + Delete?

I had/have a similar problem and I have to log out to close the game. But sometimes I have to restart my to run the game again.

I had some similar problems with my HD7770( PSU caused issues). Try using it in different system.
