Will it handle a 280x?

Hi guys, i found a really cheap sapphire r9 280x tri x OC, but i don't know if my psu will handle it

I don't have anything fancy on the case.

600w is even enough for a 290x.

While it is true that amd cards draws more power anti amd people say that it's a lot higher than it actually is.

It will handle it, but remember the Extreme power plus series is outdated and doesn't meet the quality standards there are to date.

If you already have the PSU, it's ok, it is safe enough and will support the R9 280X, but if you are about to buy the PSU, just keep looking. There are better choices at similar prices. I guess you are buying in the South America area, where the Thermaltake TR2 and CM Extreme Power PSUs plague the market still. However, recently there are other available choices, just like the XFX 80+ Bronze models, which are Seasonic OEM units, as well as the Sentey 80+ Bronze models, which are Superflower (Seasonic's  European competitor) OEM units.
