Tips for IEM

dylan43270

What are your favorite tips to use for your IEMs?

I have been using Comply tips on my Soundmagic E10's with good success.

I have now been using some rebranded GR06's and heard that tri-flange tips are the best for clarity and bass impact. Tried some, not my style. They sound good, but it really irritates my ears since they are pretty much being raped by the tips. Any other suggestions, or should I just go back to some comply tips?

The tri-flange tips that I got were some no name brand in the small size.

I prefer the normal single flange rubber ones if they're good. I'm not fond of the ones on the Soundmagics. On those I use comply tips but on my TE05 I just use the normal ones.

I almost always use the stock buds with my S4s. The seal creates a nice bass response. My complys are for travel and movies.

IMO, flanges are annoying, they just poke in your ear.

Signature unda construction... in the meantime. Tell me more about yourself. I'm sure you've got an interesting story.

Double flange is my favorite but it also depends if the earphone is compatible. Tips for higher end IEMs are more pliable and have softer edges on the flanges. I keep some IE60 tips around hoping to find something I can use them on.
