the 'b' button on my keyboard will not register!! it is a blue switch and i feel the click and everything. problem is that when i press it, it doesn't work. I don't want to send it to razer as i hate paying shipping but if i have to, i will.  Is there a way to fix this? If i hit the keyboard, it will work occasionally so this tells me its a connection issue. Can i just put a blob of wd40 in the switch? This method works on an iphone button so i hope it works on this. Does anyone know anyway to fix this without voiding the warranty? I really don't want to send it back to razer as i will have to wait weeks and eat up the shipping cost as it is blackwidow so it weighs 1.5kg. Or maybe it doesn't cost much to ship it? has anyone in australia returned a keyboard to be fixed? how much did it cost you to ship it and where did it have to be shipped (australia or usa)

Honestly it just sounds like you got a bad keyboard and should RMA it, sorry. I don't know too much about keyboard repair but most things would probably void your warranty.

oil isn't conductive so it's save to use on electronics.

try putting some in/on the switch and press it a bunch.

I've used this method on almost every button on my mouse.

Will work for electronic components and parts
