Random shutdowns

I have built my first system, been using it for around a week. I installed a storage drive two days ago and since them I have expirenced some radom shutdowns, I have checked my cpu temps after and they the shut downs and they were at 50 degrees c after restart(reboots stright away). Heres my specs:

CPU:Intel i5 4570 (using stock cooler)

Motherboard: msi z97-g43

Graphic card:AMD radeon r9 280x XFX Double dissipation

RAM:kingston fury hyper x red 1x8gb 

PSU:600W Corsair Builder Series CX600M 80PLUS Bronze Modular Power Supply

SSD(boot drive):HyperX FURY 120GB SSD SATA 3 2.5-inch

HDD:HyperX FURY 120GB SSD SATA 3 2.5-inch

wireless adapter card:Edimax EW-7612PIN 300Mbps Wireless PCI Express Adapter

OS: windows 7 64 bit home premium

also, I am runing bios 1.6 and live update fails to install the latest BIOS when I try and update it and have ran an antivirus scan using norton with no issues found

Try finding what the problem is, if you have any replacement parts like HDD's lying arround, try switching and see if thats the problem.

Also, if ANY part overheats it shuts down. Does your GPU cools itself?

And on a last note, Intel's CPU coolers have as much cooling potential as what lies in a cat's litterbox.

I have inbuilt fans in my GPU. I have only had 3-4 radom starts, 1 while playing tomb raider on the Ultimate preset and the others where while doing web browing and watching youtube videos. I have opened the MSI Intel extreme tuning utility and ran a benchmark during which the temp peaked at 76 c giving me a benchmark score of 559, as well as a 5 minute memory stress test which it pased. I am also unable to open MSI super charger it comes up with super charger is already running . I am moitoring cpu temps now and they are 37-40 c when web browsing. Also, I have no spare parts to swap out and the shut downs are infrequent so I don't know how I would know if the echanged part is working
