Hello, i need some help to identify what is causing  my pc to freeze up.

So right after start up the pc will freeze then un freeze for about 10 mins then it will be fine until i leave it idle then it will freeze on and off agian for about 10 mins.

when the freeze happens everything stops, mouse is gone, all programs freeze, basically everything.

I ran some virus scans and avg pc tune up program but that has not solved the issue.

Can you post specs. You may have a dying hard drive.

Can you do a S.M.A.R.T test on both drives and post it please. The troublesome drive will most likely be the toshiba but you may as well check both.

Could be a bad ram module, try pulling out ram and test each one individually. This could be a memory problem from the sounds of it.

I'd still run memtest to make sure it was either just the ram seated incorrectly or if you do have bad ram.
