290X is far better than the GTX 960 which is better than the 750Ti.

well VRAM for one for one thing, the actual architecture of the GPU and the bandwidth available, if those are the three cards you are looking to buy get the Gigabyte 290x, it is a far superior card

Well the r9 290x is much much much better than either of those cards in terms of performance. You're kinda comparing a low end GPU (750 ti) and a mid end GPU(960) to a high end GPU (r9 290).

290x smashes the others while drawing a lot more power and being hotter, and having generally much better higher res performance.

 

while the 960 and 750 is a lot more power efficient.
