I highly recommend white LED's. LED strips tend to be preferred over cathodes.

I did a bunch of little blue accents in my computer and my blue lights completely drowned out all of the work.

As for the actual mods you could do:
>Corsair fans and paint the rings green

>Sleeved cables (I have Silverstone: I just checked they dont make green). Bitfenix should have green cables though.

PS: LED strips are GREAT because you can turn them off (Say you have a roommate or something). Second, the brightness on the LED's of the fans will change based on how fast they are running.
