Drive 0 Unallocated Space 100gb 100gb

Drive 0 Partition 1 831.5GB 596.3GB Logical

"For things" :D. Have you tried reformatting the 100GB partition?

In Type there is nothing said next to it

Try this?

Boot the windows media again. When you get to the screen: "where do you want to install windows" press the keys SHIFT + F10. In the command line type in:

  1. diskpart
  2. select disk 0
  3. list partition
  4. select partition X (where X is the number of your desired partition from the 3rd command)
  5. format fs=ntfs quick

And see if it is successful. If not, we might need to remove all the partitions and re-create them. This has something to do with dell's OEM partition (which should be removed).

I see 3 partitions

Partition 0 Type(Extended) Size(831GB) Offset(99gb)

Partition 2 Type(Logical) Size(831GB) Offset(99gb)

Partition 1 Type(Primary) Size(8MB) Offset(931GB)

which should I format?

But in one is my files. Or formatink wont erase it ?

Formatting the entire disk will erase the files but formatting just the partition wont,
