I use a pair of IPS Monitors in eyefinity. TN screens look awful compared to IPS.

Depends on the TN panel... some are better than others.

The projects never end in my line of work.

For what should i aim in reaction time? 5-8 ms for example?

5 or lower should be fine.

get one of the cheapest 27" IPS and you will have a good time, they are in your budget, or better yet, wait for freesync monitors... they are close and wont cost more than 1% extra

I'd wait for free sync as I'm currently using a g-sync monitor and its amazing. If free sync works like it's advertised it will definitely be worth the wait.

Wasn't a suggestion, asshole.

Just ignore it. I've been watching this particular section of the forum a lot lately and I've honestly come to expect these kinds of responses whenever I see that avatar.
