Youtube HTML5 audio sync problems

I've recently hit a problem where in HTML5 videos the audio and video slowly drift out of sync.

Changing resolution, skipping backward or forward remedies the problem momentarily, but the audio always drifts out of sync.

I switched back to the Flash player and there's no problems.

This happens on Firefox and Chrome, I've updated the browsers and video drivers, and it's still having problems.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Everything is fine on my end, Chrome and HTML5.

It may be an issue with your hardware.
