55" TV under $800USD

I am shopping for a 55" TV for our basement. My budget is $800 USD but if it can be kept under $600 that would be great. Uses are movies and gaming so input lag is important. I don't care one bit about 3D or Smart I just want a good looking TV with low ghosting and input lag. Does anyone have some suggestions?

My recommendation would be a Vizio P series and just get the 50", i know you want a 55", however if you get the Vizio P Series, you get 4k and a smart tv. Even if you do not plan on using 4k now, it will make the tv last that much longer. I know you want a 55" but i am just throwing that out there. The 55" model is like ~1250, if you wanted to save a little longer and get that.
