Hey guys!

In a few weeks I'll buy the cooler that's mentioned on the title. It comes without the liquid, so I'll have to buy some.

Is the EK-Eoolant Clear good? It is rather cheap and I can buy it in the same store as the cooler.

Thanks for the opinions :)

Yes it's good especially for dis-similar metal loops but you can achieve the same results with distilled water and a kill coil.

Distiled water is a bit cheaper, but the liquid I mentioned includes additives against algae and corrosion. Does this help/Is it useful?

The corrosion is usually from galvanic corrosion when you mix different metals such as aluminum and copper in a loop, but metals such as nickel, copper and brass are very compatible with each other and won't cause any problems. As for algae the silver coil takes care of any bacteria or growth due to it's properties as a metal, but if you can get the Ek coolant for a price that is not much more than distilled water in your area it's not a bad choice, here's it's just cost more than regular distilled and a kill coil (Pure Silver).
