Auslogics has one of the best defraggers

I just want A free good defrag program that doesn't have any spyware and stuff thanks.

I tried that and my hard drive still maxes out at 100% when I do stuff. Note i have Windows 8.1

ioBit Smart Defrag worked for me back in the day.

Get a new HDD?

 

Windows....plus whatever your running... (Have you checked system process's using it all?)

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

It's using like 2MB/s and my hard drive is at 100%

So no matter what the throughput, your drive is at 100% hence slowing down to all buggery...?

 

 

Get a new drive.

Diagnose your existing drive afterwards... save your self some stress.

 

(ie: With it THIS FAR GONE.... get a replacement anyway)

Get a new drive.

Diagnose your existing drive afterwards... save your self some stress.

 

(ie: With it THIS FAR GONE.... get a replacement anyway)

Get an SSD and stop worrying about fragmentation.
