I have this in my system with  an i7 4790k and Asus Z97-AR Motherboard. I was wondering how to overclock ram to 2400mhz. I am also using xmp profile 1 right now, i don't known if thats good to use or not?

2nd Question is, I have a pair of this lying around, could I pair it with my other set of ram for a full 24gb of ram even though the speeds are different, voltages, and timings?

I have no idea how to overclock ram

super simple. go to memory frequency settings change the multiplier to 24 in your case (24x100) and move the voltage slider to something stable

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

To get 2400MHz, you will have to overclock it manually (increase the DRAM multiplier). Then you'll have to experiment with the RAM timings and voltage to see what allows the RAM to run stable.

You need to disable XMP and manually select 2400MHz.

You can add your second kit, but you will have to run them all at the slower RAM speed -- 1600MHz.
