hi!

I am looking into matx cases, and i am wondering which one you guys think is the best.

Why i am choosing matx is because i am only going to put in one videocard and one soundcard, therefore the additional space is pretty much useless for me :D .

My budget is around 100-200$ The case must be able to fit a h80i, and be fairly well built.

my favorite case so far is the Corsair obsidian 350d.

Sorry for my english. thankful for every answer :P

Would love to be the owner of the: nAMDvidia Titation 3000 ultra-xt Platinum Edition :D

If the 350D's build quality is anything like the rest of Corsair's cases (which I would imagine it would be) then it's definitely top notch.  Corsairs have been a dream for me when I've built in them.

Yep.  IMO they're a bit overpriced but they do make them.  They're not available everywhere though.

Just finished building my mATX rig last week in a 350D.  Solid construction, easy to route cables, and there's so much room inside.

It's a bit bigger than I expected compared to other mATX cases.

Current Rig: i5 3570K @ 4.2 GHz, Corsair H100i, Asus Maximus V Gene, Asus GTX 970 Turbo, Patriot Viper Black Mamba 8 GB DDR-3 1600 (2x4GB), Sandisk 120 GB SSD + Seagate 500 GB HDD + WD Blue 1 TB HDD, XFX 750W Black Edition, Corsair 350D - https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/b/cbxrxr

which other mATX case were you comparing it to?

airdeano

350D - 17.7 x 17.7 x 8

N200 - 17.5 x 14.9 x 8

TJ08-E - 15.2 x 14.7 x 8.3

Design Mini -  15.9 x 19 x 8.3

Define Mini - 15.6 x 19.3 x 8.3

Design Core - 16.5 x 14 x 6.9

Vulcan - 16 x 14.9 x 7

It's by no means as big as my old C70 case but it's certainly a bit taller than the others.

The Design / Define Mini is comparable in size in terms of volume (41 liters) but surprisingly, the 350D is lighter (20 lbs. vs. 13 lbs.)  it was very easy lugging it around from room to room.

Current Rig: i5 3570K @ 4.2 GHz, Corsair H100i, Asus Maximus V Gene, Asus GTX 970 Turbo, Patriot Viper Black Mamba 8 GB DDR-3 1600 (2x4GB), Sandisk 120 GB SSD + Seagate 500 GB HDD + WD Blue 1 TB HDD, XFX 750W Black Edition, Corsair 350D - https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/b/cbxrxr

Since you don't need the extra space, SFF mATX cases should be fine.

I'd say either, prodigy M or the Silverstone SG09.

Main Gaming Rig/Folding Machine: Core i7 3770k @ 4.7GHz / H100 with Sickleflow Fans/ Corsair 600t / XFX 6950 / 16GB DDR3

Folding/Media PC: AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE/ Fractal Design Core 1000 / 4GB DDR2

Ultrabook : Samsung NP530 Ultrabook.

Another vote for the 350D. It's by no means the smallest, but you can fit a ton of stuff in it with room to watercool, while still having good airflow.

Asus Gryphon w/Thermal Armor / Intel i5 4670K / Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB / Asus ROG Matrix 7970 Platinum / Samsung 830 / Seagate Barracuda

Corsair AX860 / Corsiar 350D / Corsair H100i / Windows 8 Pro
