Looking for a laptop

Hello All,

 

I have a beast of a desktop but my laptop of 5 yrs just broke and I need a replacement. 

 

Main uses will be watching movies, light gaming and something i can tether my camera to but not edit photos.

 

 

Let me know if you have any recommendations because currently i'm looking at a dell xps 15

That dell might do it for you. I'm unsure of lower-end laptops in terms of what's good and what's not good; however Dell's support does put them ahead of quite a few others like HP/Acer/etc in that performance bracket.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
