Booting

Hi there

Follow up from my last one I made.

My computer is booting from my laptop HDD which I just plugged in and I want it to boot from the desktop HDD, the boot order is set like this:

#1 UEFI USB HDD

 

And the config for that it

#1 Desktop HDD

#2 Laptop HDD

 

Any help in getting it to boot to the Desktop HDD?

i think that #1 UEFI USB HDD is not doing anything for you there

imo should be UEFI HDD and then if you can in sub menu, set the order for desktop HDD and then laptop HDD, or just leave it blank

 

or, did you plug the laptop HDD to your PC via USB?

then you should definitely change the boot order, if you wanna boot from desktop HDD

Okay it doesn't matter I got it to boot in the right order now. So I plug in the hard drive and there is nothing in the documents or anything! Just Windows files and stuff. This hard drive did have Windows 8.1 on and the current one in my desktop has Windows 7. Has it all been deleted???

Oops nevermind, I was trying to access a (essentially) blank Windows 10 preview dual boot partition
