8 and 16 if you plan to leave many tabs open and stream while gaming. ive almost hit the limit with 8 once.

Depends on your system. Even 4gb will be enough for many games, but it's better to get 8gb for the next-gen games.

8 GB, but some games like BF4 benefits from 16, maybe with DX12 16 will become standard.
