Hard drive Circuit board gone bad

Go to solution Solved by ItsFTP,

Something like this might work. I would suggest you call seagate and ask if it would work and buy that or ask for a brand new board from seagate.

I want to recover the data from my hard drive

but the whole connector circuit board has gone bad

I cant find a new one online

but is it possible to recover the data even if I cant find a new circuit board?

Any data recovery service can help you but it will cost you a lot, if you want to try for yourself find another hdd with same model, capacity, and firmware then swap the board. For some HDD it won't always work and could damage the data inside so be careful. I have an experience with some model of WD hdd and it won't detect even if you swap with similar board.
