Hey guys, just wondering if there is any fix for this, my connection as bad as it seems, being it ADSL only , 800kbs down and 40kbs up, yeah it's not the greatest but I can play most games perfectly. My connection on certain games such as Destiny and Battlefield 4 drops out after 20 - 30mins, I have know idea why but in the time that I am playing, my connection is perfect. Anyone know why it does this or have any fixes?

are you connected to the modem directly?

Are you perhaps using WiFi?

I use direct connection, using an Ethernet cable.

when was the last time you replaced the cables?

bad or broken cables will cause speed drops and lost connection although it may not be sudden

To be honest this cable is actually quite new, it's been in for about 3 months, but the problem was happening before that.

how old is the modem?

did you check with the ISP to check the connection between the ISP servers and your home?

The modem, also, is not old, about 6 months, it's a NETGEAR D6300, I have checked the ISP, the connection is normal, I asked them about these issues, they did not know what the problem could be. My ports are all forwarded correctly and as far as I know I can't find any fixes, I found I few people in forums and such that are phasing these issues with destiny but the only thing they say to do is forward your ports which doesn't seem to cut it for me. It seems very unique but I have thought about it being my Upload speed as it is very small compared to anyone I know.

Yes the rest are normal, it's just these two.

it could be the server you are connected

not really much you can do for your side since it not hardware related nor your network issue
