Deathadder Chroma Vs G502

AuraDesru

My experience with the Deathadder 2013.

I liked it was lightweight, very clean simple design. Glides nicely due to being light.

Even if your hands felt grimy/clammy, it didn't really affect how it felt on the mouse.

However, the rubber grip on one side after not too long of having it started to peel away. I fixed this with crazy glue. The black decal inside the scroll wheel started to peel as well. Glued again. Started to notice a odd feeling when you hold down the left click and scroll. Felt like something was rubbing. I missed the free scrolling wheel, but adapted. Had a nice rubber wheel though. At times the mouse did feel cheap.

With the G502, I gained back some familiarity since I've owned the MX500, G5, and G500. Free scrolling wheel was back. Mouse feels more solid and well built. Without the weights, I'd say the mouse heavier than the DA2013.

My gripe with this mouse is I find myself cleaning the bottom more often than I should. Little specks of dust, hair, or debris tend to get stuck in the crevasses of the pads more so than with the other mice I've owned. Scroll wheel lacks rubber, but strangely it doesn't affect usability of it.
