I just built my first PC and have booted up Windows 8.1 on my SSD. I clicked on My Computer in windows and my 2tb Hard Drive doesn't show up. How do I get windows to recognize this drive so I can start filling it up? Thanks!

Hey Blizzquake,

New drives come unformatted and need to be initialized, assigned a letter and formatted. @1Scotty1 gave you good guidance how to do that. There you can chose different partitions and different formats. In case you happen to lose partition or corrupt some data, you can reformat your partition and many other options. Here's some more info: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-format-hard-disk-partition#create-format-hard-disk-partition=windows-7
