hackintosh laptop

Go to solution Solved by Jade,

stable enough to just browse the internet and watch betflix? If its not stable then i wont risk doing it

Will it do it? Yeah, sure. If she clicks update on something she shouldn't? rip in pieces. Don't do a hackintosh for someone else unless you've done it for yourself and are confident with it.

So my sister wnats to get a mac because shes like the ui and whatever better, but she doesnt want to fork out the $1300, so i told her about a hackintosh i've never done one and dont know anythig about it, the only experience messing wih os's is pirating windows 7, so im just wondering where to start, if its stable that she can run it normally without any issues and if a certain laptop around the $600-$700 CDN range would be best

don't make a hackintosh for someone else.

don't make a laptop hackintosh if you never have done a hackintosh before.

If you're not willing to cough up money when it stops working or ready to be support for everything, not doing it is the better option.
