[Sponsored Build Log] \\\---ANVIL---///

AltexChris

I'm so jealous of all these amazing builds going on...

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

Rough initial tubing runs and LED test. Everything works, so we'll be tearing it down and re-doing tubing and doing some proper cable management.

We did a test fit and while it looks that way, it fit just fine. We're redoing the runs anyways (probably could've just used flexible tubing for testing purposes, but we didn't have the fittings and made some ugly quick runs out of acrylic). :)

wow this is now becomming a very nice build and so glad to see your doing some custom work here, i will be honest when i first saw the case in black and was like "oh no not another build from some rich person that just buys or is sponsered with lots of fancy new components beautifully made by a manufacute and all they do is assemble it" but no you have proved me wrong and i like what i see.

to me a build that has custom work, ideas, drawings, heavy mods or complete scratch builds is only worthy to get full marks,

good job friend, custom work is not easy and can cost a lot, i am currently nearly finished my own scratch build and its taken nearly 6 months.

got to love Asus components

Thanks for the kind words and helpful feedback! We currently have the loop taken apart so we can make cleaner runs for the tubing. We're also now working with V1 Tech to get custom cabling made for our Cooler Master V1000 fully-modular power supply (overkill for the build for sure :P).

And here's a quick shot of the cables plugged in (wire management and other tasks will be done over the next few days to get the build done!) :)

Orange and brushed metal is an awesome colour scheme and I really like what you did with the side panel.
