scratched screen

I have a hp pavilion and some how the screen got scratched it's a small not deep scratch but it bothers me while gaming or browsing

Is there an easy way to fix it

Replace it. Buy a new one... It's easy as long as you have money...

there is a few methods of repair.  U can do the eraser method where you use a new white eraser and work at it.  Eventually it will smooth down.  The other method is vaseline.  It can be applied and rubbed into the affected area.  You then wipe it off with  a fine cloth and that should fix for a bit also.  If you cannot notice it in games then I would not even bother.  You can look these things up on youtube if you aren't sure.

No I'm not sure about putting Vaseline on the screen or toothpaste Or using an eraser but replacing the screen is going to cost alot

There are methods; but i have never tried any of them.

i have used the vaseline method on a ton of monitors and it works great but it wont work if the screen is glossy

I can vouch for the toothpaste method but that's for cds not screens.

Replacing the screen might not cost as much as you think, down side is you'll need to start pulling your machine apart to make sure you get the right part number. I've replaced a coulle of HP Pavillion screens you can pick up a replacement panel for £40-60
