I recently redid my computer just because it had a lot of programs and things i had installed and didn't really need and i went and redid all my drives and wiped my SSD then installed windows again. Since then i have been getting stuttering on youtube videos. I have tried disabling almost everything in chrome. I tried other browsers and it was not as bad but still stuttered at times. I have been trying everything i can think of and trying to monitor the task manager to see if maybe something was jumping up in useage for some reason, and the only thing i see jumping is the disk usage for my SSD. Every time it stutters and look at the SSD graph and it is writing. Could it be that it is going back or is it more likely something else? I ran Samsung magician and it said it was in good health. I have a Samsung EVO 840.

Why did you come to the SSD conclusion like that?

Perhaps you are missing a driver after the reinstall?

Check your other components before you call the SSD the culprit.

I don't know that it is the SSD, that is my guess i am posting here to see if people with more knowledge about it might have a better idea or a fix or any kind of help. Im also not saying its because its an SSD it is because it is my C drive and when the stutters happen the C drive usage shoots up.

Again, are all other system drivers installed and configured properly?

Otherwise, I'm going to need more information to give you accurate help.

Hey Waterloo,

Have you enabled by any chance any performance boost that the SSD has through its software? Sometimes this messes up with the way it performs and could lead to such problems. Could you post a screenshot of how the SSD hits 100% usage? Can you see which process eats it up?

As far as i know, no i have not enabled any performance boost. I have optimized it inside of samsung magician. Also it wasn't going to 100% usage, it would be like 5-27% but always right after stuttering started. Also chrome or mozilla whatever browser i was using was also going up at the same time. However, update. Last night after posting i played skyrim for a little bit, no problems the problems have only  been with youtube. Today, NOTHING, not even a slight stutter. My thoughts are now that maybe a program in the background was trying to do something, but i have no idea what. I redid my PC a week ago and it was like that everyday, until today.

You could try cleaning the browsers' and your Flash Player's memory cache. It could help if this happens in the future. Here are a couple of links that might help with that:
