The 27in model goes on sale often for $490 if people would want to wait for that sale.

I have two of them, amazing monitors. IMO 24in is too small for 4K res.

So tempting. D:

Quit trying to tempt me with almost perfect monitors you devil!

I'd love to get one of these...but with a single 780 it's probably not a good idea  Plus I'm not really feeling like dropping more than $300 on a 4k IPS 24" monitor (no matter how unrealistic that might be).

Although....the higher resolution might be enough to finally get me to go through all of my photos, and maybe edit them a bit.....although, I've never liked editing photos.

I'm waiting for thin bezels and FreeSync :P Even though I don't have an AMD card... xD

I'm trying to but its hard when I see something like this lol

Well, not like it'll add any cost to the monitor :P

I have a few friends that have 4k 27/28 and 31 inch monitors, they have trouble reading text on those and those are much bigger than 24", my buddy has to use 170% zoom on chrome to read text on LTT at 28", I can't imagine how difficult it would be to read things at 24".

I'd really wish I could see a 4k panel/scaling issues in person....

I'm curious to know how bad they really are.

I've used the zoom in on chrome a few times at 1440p for sites that use weird text sizes, some sites are OK and some just become super buggy when you have to zoom in really far, where it breaks the layout and stuff sometimes.

I haven't had to use windows scaling but I hear it's really really poor for some things.

I've experienced no issues so far on Windows 8.1 w/ auto scaling

Your friend should take some pictures of window's / various other programs' scaling :)
