Windows 8.1 Pro Installation

Hi everyone, I have a few questions that I want to bring up regarding the installation of Windows 8.1 Pro for Students on a completely new computer that has no existing OS on it at the moment.

 

So my situation is that I'm planning on buying Windows 8.1 Pro for Students through the Microsoft website, more specifically, the download (since that is the only one available).

 

Right now, I am writing this post via Macbook Pro, and was wondering if I would be able to buy Windows 8.1 Pro for Students on my MBP, and then save it onto a USB drive, and then use that drive to install the OS onto the brand new computer. If so, how do I save the Windows 8.1 Pro for Students OS onto a USB drive after buying it?

 

This is where more confusion lies. Do I still need to look for the ISO for Windows 8.1 Pro for Students, and go through all of those procedures that Linus pointed out in one of his videos, or is it simply: Download Windows 8.1 Pro on Macbook Pro > Save OS to USB Drive > Use USB Drive to install OS to new computer > Continue installation of Windows 8.1?
