Hello everyone :D

So ive been seeing a lot of people saying why would you game on wireless or gaming on wireless is terrible and just avoid it like the plague which i do not understand. Now if you can directly run an ethernet instead of wifi that is obviously better, and i'd chose the ethernet too.

But i cant, so i can either use powerline or wireless. Powerline for me sucks and i only get around 5mbps down and 4mbps up with a ping of 40ms. When using my cheapo wireless n usb adapter i get 45mbps down, 4mbps up and 7ms ping.

I can game perfectly fine with really low ping, so yeah i dont get why people are so against it ( Except if you live in an area with uber high interference )

So can someone explain this to me?

I remember with one of my old wireless adapters, I would get a 3-4 second "hiccup" every few minutes while playing WoW. Since I played a healer, it really screwed me up when raiding with my guild. I bought a better adapter, and the problem went away. I'm perfectly fine gaming over wireless, and have for years. It's my DSL that's terrible as hell!
