Random BSOD's while gaming

so recently i was getting bsod's while playing games here and there, my h100i pump was dieing and i thought my cpu was overheating and so i decided to get a new case and cooler.

I got a corsair 450d and a coolermaster hyper 212x, did the case swap, cleaned the old goop off the cpu with iso and installed the new cooler temps seems pretty decent around 33-35degrees while idle and 65-66 degrees when running OCCT stress test.

 

but im still getting random BSOD's while gaming.. Whocrashed says this

do you guys think it could be my gpu (7950) causing this? ive run like 3d mark a few times and its never crashed.. my gpu is tuned all to stock frequencys.

According to Tom's Hardware that is one of your components getting too hot, try monitoring your GPU temps and see what you are getting over there.

just ran 3dmark and unigen valley again and kept an eye on my temps gpu doesnt seem to go over 65 degrees, im stumped lol,

 

only other thing i can think of is i have my ram set to the 2133mhz xmp profile (thats what my ram is rated for) but then again it says possible thermal problem so yeah no idea

Sounds like an OC problem to me, do you have your CPU OC´d? When i had my OC too high, my PC would BSOD too once every 2 days or so while gaming, and when my GPU was OC´d too high it would crash and show me the classic stripes screen crash, so if you have your CPU overclocked, lower the Mhz just by 100 at a time untill you see no more crashes, if you reach your CPU stock speeds and still crashing, you can be sure it isnt a cpu problem.  If your RAM is set at its designed speeds it should not be the problem, but remember to do just 1 change at a time so you can sort out what the real problem is

bsod #124 is (at least in my experience) an issue with a CPU overclock and/or not enough voltage. OP, are you overclocking yer cpu?

Yeah, it sounds like a voltage/temp problem. Check your BOIS and enter in your CPUs recommended voltage, etc and under volt/under clock your GPU.

hmm as far as i know ive never attempted to overclock my cpu or anything, but ill takea  look at the bios and make sure everything is set to stock, thanks

well i set everything under the extreme tweaking tab in my UEFI to optimised defaults, ill see how i go during tonights gaming session =/
