1,38v is too high, avoid going above 1.3 if possible.

 

You probably just got a bad overclocker. It can happen, there isn't much you can do unfortunately. By the way, what do you mean with "fine temps"? It should stay below 80c if at all possible.

I also have tried OC my 4930k in using an asus rampage black edition board with 32gb ram 2400 kit and it runs at 3900 stock so it says in bios but on box its 3.4, I am new to computers I can build them but overclocking and other functions is what I am learning at present, my cpu is custom water cooled my gpu is an amd r9 295x2 and I have a 4k monitor and I cannot utilize best of speeds for this, any help would be good many thanks in advance.
