Laptop Hunt

I am laptop shopping at the moment. First of all, as a graduating hs student, this will be my ride thourgh college. My requirements are varied gameplay, infrequent but often complex CAD, and coding. I look towards the new Razer Blade 15' as a ceiling, and as low as the also new Dell XPS 13. But I know there are other options, like the MSI Stealth and a few Lenovos, among others. I like the slimness of most of the mentioned products, and owing something as wild as an Aleinware is no longer appealing. I come to you for advice to grind these options down, and also for any more suggestions. Many thanks in advance.
