Hello this is my first post on this forum, so please if I break any rules or don't do anything properly please let me know. I am currently planning my first build with a budget of $760 with tax and shipping. I plan to buy everything from Newegg unless I can get a good deal somewhere else. I will be doing light streaming, light video editing and light-mid gaming. I won't be playing monstrous AAA titles. LoL or Civ 5 I would say are my highest graphical games (if that's how you say it). I will add an SSD in the future (3-4 months) and do a possible Xfire (at least 2 years). I will get a keyboard and mouse separate from this (recommendations would be great, budget of 60 bucks, try to get a mouse included but not required). I want this to last me around 3-4 years before I need to upgrade anything. I don't plan to overclock ever. Sorry this is taking so long. Here it is: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WbqPGX

this is the lowest that will fit your needs: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bRJpMp

There is plenty of room to upgrade such as the mobo. other than that, nothing really. or the gpu but you said you aren't playing gpu intensive games so that will be ok. os not included

Thanks for your reply but, this goes over my budget w/o tax or shipping. I don't need a Z mobo because I won't OC, I prefer G.Skill and 1866 memory is ideally useless, 3TB of storage is way too much, and I don't need a 290, it's pretty much overkill for ME.

" future proofing " LoL isn't asking for much but I still would get a better card then change a worser card faster. BTW 290's are very, very cheap. Z is for upgrades, if you want to oc, you can get a K cpu ;). Well 1 tb costs 40 bucks so for 2 price, you get 3 :)

In a way, not entirely but in some way, you made the build worse... I don't do mail in rebates at all.

The GPU will draw a max around 350w, the PSU will do 440w... I don't like it.

What makes it worse? Just cause one has more ram doesn't make it worse. The 750ti card will play all the games the R290 can

Star, you better start doing some research on your own.  I like that you try to help, but you don't quite have the right level of knowledge to coordinate a build...

If you've been watching me you'll know that my computer is a piece of poo. I have no money as previously stated in a separate thread. Also, trial and error is much more fun.
