No but he went into the bios and changed the boot order so it checks his ssd first. So it's fixed =)

My friend reinstalled windows 8.1 because he ran into some major problems and couldn't open anything. Anyways, he reinstalled it and everything was fine. Then he went to install his old hdd, so he turned off his pc and plugged the hdd in and now it's stuck booting.
