Windows 10

I have a temporary windows 8.1 key now (from school) and i was wondering if i get windows 10 would it make it permanent? If not i have a windows 7 key that i was using previously (should i upgrade to 10 then?)

if you plan on gaming NO! i tried and steam will repedly crash about every 20 minutes. just stick windows 8.1 for now

Doesn't matter, both 7 and 8.x will get upgraded to Windows 10 for free.

Gaming on Steam on Windows 10 right now, haven't had any issues in the past hour and a half....

Yes when you take the upgrade (within the first year of Win10) you keep Win10 forever. Win7 and 8 licenses get to upgrade.

 

I don't think a timed license will get the upgrade.

 

Please don't Judge the final product by the current version.
