Replacement Power Brick (Qnix)

hey guys ive had 2 of these 27" PLS korean monitors for a good year now, they are fantastic, i was moving some stuff around and i go to plug my monitors back into my pc, and 1 of them doesnt power on.. so i tried using the power adapter for the one that was working and connected to the one that wasnt, works perfect.. so im pretty sure its the power brick that is broken, (i tried plugging a different power cable into the brick still didnt work).

 

The original powerbrick/cable is a 12V 5A 110--240v but im unsure about the size of the connector plug that actually goes into the monitor, can anybody point me in the right direction? i found this on ebay it kinda looks like the right thing im just not sure about the size of the connector.

by any chance can you give the monitor model no or the model no of the power brick you need to replace? 

muh specs 

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

The Monitor is a

QNIX QX2710  (DVI-D only model)

SHOULD work according to some digging I found, but this

claims to be the m120500p911 MN and for Xstar korean monitors, I would not be suprised if they required the same psu. THe picture doens't match, but I notice it's a stockphoto with the amperage blocked out, so you'd likely recieve the same thing you have there.

thanks for your help buddy, i think i might take the power brick to my electronics shop and see if they have a generic replacement, if not might have to order that one you linked

ok good luck. If you want, you could always get a power brick with the same voltage and equal or equal or higher amperage and put the old tip on it, if you trust your wiring skills enough xD

(I do that kinda crap all of the time)

haha i have a feeling that its the tip itself thats broken because i didnt realise i was stretching it a bit too much it looks kinda bent and the end like its had alot of tension on it, and no i dont trust myself with a wiring job haha :D

so i got what i was looking for at the electronics store (Jaycar) quite overpriced $50aud but screw it, i need my second monitor up and running :P
