Gigabyte 670 vs 7950

Go with the best deal $? Both are great, 7950 a bit better for high res and multi monitors due to memory & bandwith ;-) !

Imo they perform similarly. If you play games with Physx, the 670 might be better. You can still run Physx with AMD card but itll be processed on the cpu instead. I use an MSI Twin Frozn 3 7950 in eyefinity with three u2412m and i can max most games. Most games dont surpass 1.5gb vram on a single monitor and 2gb on a 670 will run Surround properly. On a single monitor, both are great choices. The high end gpus perform very similarly, not considering Physx.
i said most. i dont think crysis 2 with dx11 and high texture will even use more than 1.5gb
