Hi guys Im recently getting very high temps(see screenshot) on my CPU. its at 4.5ghz and cooled by a Corsair H80 with 2 noctua NFF12 fans.

is this normal temps for that kind of overclock

CPU: i5 3570k

Cooler: Corsair h80 (about 3 years old now)

CPU frequency:4.52ghz 

Volts: 1.3volts (any lower it just blue screens)

im gonna have to turn the overclock down for now i think.

My PC specs are CPU: 6700k @4.7Ghz Ram: 16GB Corsair RGB Pro GPU: RTX 2070  PSU: RM650 CPU cooler: corsair H150 Case: corsair Motherboard: ASUS Z270 Pro SSD: 1tb Samsung 970 EVOand SK Hynix 1TB

It's not normal. It's way too high. Try re-applying thermal paste to see if there's any difference. If there isn't any, lower your overclock until you get back into the safe zone (<90c, I'd go for less than 80 if at all possible). Check that the pump is working fine, try to hear if there's a buzzing sound while the pc is running; if it isn't you have a defective cooler.

sounds like there is no circulation in that AIO watercooler you're using.

How do i even tell if it is circulating

What are you using to monitor your temperature? Check with multiple programs.

Considering your aio is 3 years old , chances are it's no longer working , or your Tim is old and crusty if it's never been changed

Or you may have a runnaway prosess that causes excessive cpu usage
