Okay so my friend has a pc case and a 550w power supply and he is willing to spend about $600 for everything else. I know he mods the hell out of minecraeft and plays those little games like gmod and he records them edits and puts them on youtube.

So anything would be an improvement over is 32bit old laptop. But i can't deside. g3258 and overclock it, i5 4690k or fx 8350.

I know they are a little overkill for minecraft but I know he doesn't need that much graphics. (thinking 750ti)

Whats parts do you think I should get for him?

How come you recommend this case so much?

Also, 400 watt seasonic unit is pretty cheap theese days so id recommend using it.

Corsair is also good tbh.

I had a tx 650 W.

Dunno , its cheap , does the job.

Looks okay.

Not for Minecraft. For AAA titles or purely video editing then yes I'd go with this option, but when playing games that are CPU demanding but lightly threaded, Intel is a better option.

Xeon E3 is the best option for both and I made a build with it.
