I use my 32gb Toshiba flash drive for installing windows 8.1 for my new PC

after that, i want to use my flash drive for my dvd player to watch my movies

so i format it to ntfs and my dvd cannot read it

so i format it again to fat32

the dvd player can read my flash drive but weeks later, when i copied my movies to the flash drive

the speed is only hitting 5-8mb/s

how to fix this ?

Terve!

I would recommend using crystaldisk benchmark to run a benchmark.

If it is slow in the benchmark as well, I think it is a short time before failure.

How old is your flash drive?

There is an other benchmark that tells you more about your drive, but I cannot remember the damned name.

I hope I can give you the other software's name.

Sayonara!
