Hi guys,

I just bought the Beyer Dynamics DT 990 pro. And I was wondering how to set this up for gaming. I currently use a antlion mod mic as microphone.

So If I use the mobo ondboard DAC and hook a amp on to the mobo, and from there on my 990's. Is this a good option? Also where do input my microphone.

I would like my cables to stick togheter (like with a headset). Is there any way i can hook up my mic to the amp? So all keeps togheter?

Thx!

I dont understand what you are talking about. I would not post it if it was not the case.

Any contribution to my question?

Is it possible to get a splitter and insert both headphone and mic into the amp?

i dont think headphone amps have mic inline, since amps are made for headphones and not headsets. how much ohm does your dt990 have? maybe get a cheap dac/amp from companies like inline and then hook up an amp to it, but that would be pricey and not exatly worth it imo. if the impedance is >250ohm then i would get the o2 or something better and plug it in directly to your mobo, the mod mic too.

If one does not fail at times, then one has not challenged himself.
