Braided cables.

Go to solution Solved by stellos_artois,

yes this happened to me before, so annyoing once it ges tangled up it starts to rip the braided cord. Reason it happens is cause you put down your headset down different ways causing the wire to twist. Just unplug the headset and  find a place you can hang the headset so it will untwist itsself. If you live in 2 story house just hang it down the stairs until it untwist itself.

Hello,

Greetings,

Ahh man I cannot describe my hatred for braided cables,THEY ARE A PAIN IN THE ASS.They just keep tangling and tangling even after back bending.

So my G430 has a braided cable and they keep tangling like hell.I did some back bending and stretching and what not but still they look like - IMG_20150207_130454.jpg

I googled the problem and found no results,(don't worry my googling skills are better than that annoying friend you have). Please tell me a solution to the problem,a permanent solution unlike mine,I just hide it underneath my keyboard.

Thank you.

Are you just twisting the cable around itself that tends to happen if you do that, just try to straighten it and keep it in place for a while using a book or something on it to prevent it form re-curling overtime.

I hated it too. I would untangle them and force them to straighten with a book or by slowly and carefully extending them out flat for a couple of minutes. *for any kind of twisting/braiding wire.

I don't have that problem with my Laredo headphones. They never braid together like that anymore. They are fantastic.
